Background

YERR Masks started as a 2021 NFT art project by Secretpikachu (SP) mainly featuring symmetrical art that resemble masks. Content ideation and artwork creation started in early 2021, and has been resumed this November 2023.

Inspired by HashMasks NFTs, which in Pika's opinion jumpstarted the NFT craze, it also takes inspiration from Takawo's Generative Masks.

YERR Masks initially launched on Base via Layerr.xyz. Separate YERR Masks contracts have been deployed to cater to the other branches of the Superchain, such as CommonYERRs to represent open edition YERRMasks on the Zora network.
